No matter the time of year a holiday can throw you for a loop! Should you expect to have a game?
Here at King Trivia, we assume that all games WILL be running during holidays until announced otherwise. If a venue tells you they are not running a King Trivia show or will be closed for a certain holiday, ask them to send an email to cancellations@kingtrivia.com and leave us a note in the recap’s internal notes section. Do not assume you have the night off just because the venue has told you so. Unless a King Trivia HQ team member tells you of a cancellation, you are expected to run your show as scheduled.
Please note you are always welcome to request any holiday off at any time, but the further in advance you ask the more likely you will be able to find a sub. Most Quizmasters plan their holiday trips months in advance. If you start looking to get the week of Christmas covered on Dec. 15th, it could be very difficult. Until a replacement is found, you are expected to cover your show as scheduled.
