Explanation on what the round is and why it works!
What is it?
An additional, short game created by your host to give all teams the opportunity to win something. This round was designed to increase players' average spends.
How does it work?
- Your host will announce this week's Bonus Round (ex. "Draw your host competition") as well as the prize for winning.
- The prize should be the player or team's next round of drink(s) "on the house*", however, it needs to be based on their previous order.
- This incentivizes players to order an additional, more expensive drink in hopes of getting their next one for free.
- The prize should be the player or team's next round of drink(s) "on the house*", however, it needs to be based on their previous order.
- The competition occurs, giving players' brains a break and teams not doing so well an opportunity to be winners.
*Prizes are at the discretion of the client. Please adhere to all proper regulations as they relate to alcohol service
**We suggest that this round be implemented between rounds five and six during Pub Quiz and Survey Slam events and after game two of Music Bingo.
Round Suggestions
Below are some of our favorite options but your imagination is the limit!
- Paper Airplane Race - each team makes a paper airplane with the King Trivia scratch paper. The plane that flies the farthest (or closest to a target) wins.
- Be an Artist - Each team draws the best version of the host or willing staff member (be nice!)
- How Many? - Fill a glass/jar with something and the team that guesses the closest wins
- High-Low - with a deck of cards and one representative from each team, ask each team if the next card you flip over will be higher or lower than the previous card. If they’re correct, they stay until the next round, if they’re wrong, they go back to their team. Continue until there is a winning team
- Origami - the team that creates the best something with the KT scratch paper wins
- Pick Your Pockets! - the team with the oldest coin in their possession wins- or the strangest thing in their pocket/purse/bag
- Draw Your State - The team that draws the state you’re in the best wins
- Do You Have? - The host names things and continues until there is one team left ($1 bill, ChapStick, lint, etc.)
- Paper Football - one person from each team makes a paper football and tries to make 1 point, whoever finishes the fastest wins.
